Okay, I played this game yesterday, turned on the WiiU today, and the portal doesn't light up at all. Loaded the game and it says the portal isn't connected.
I went to the warranty section at Activision Support, but the model number comes back as invalid. (I can upload an image if needed, but I'm worried that would allow others to use my model number to file a similar replacement claim).
I'm about twenty minutes away from their customer support hotline hours, so I may just end up calling, but I figured it couldn't hurt to add this discussion thread in the meantime.
We just got this game a few weeks ago, so I really do not want to have to buy a replacement and we never had this problem with Skylanders: Giants so I'm a little upset that this happened, especially as I just bought a new Trap Master toy for my daughter and now we can't play it.
