Been trying for over 2 weeks now to find a retailer who sells a copy of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare digitally for the Xbox 360. Have had numerous conversations on twitter/facebook with Gamestop, Activision Support, Xbox, Xbox support. They all have mixed answers, like we'll get back to you, go to this website Call of Duty®: Advanced Warfare | Pre-Order(which after following the link takes you to physical copies of the game and not digital even after selecting digital pro), contact your retailers. Now after reading the FAQ on callofduty.com/advancedwarfare/dayzero I saw it state, '*DAY ZERO EDITION QUANTITIES LIMITED, AVAILABILITY SUBJECT TO DEMAND AND INVENTORY AT RETAILER LOCATIONS. IF DAY ZERO EDITION NOT AVAILABLE AT RETAILER, PRE-ORDER CUSTOMER MAY RECEIVE A PRE-ORDER REFUND, OR MAY PURCHASE A LAUNCH UNIT AND OBTAIN A CODE TO DOWNLOAD ALL DAY ZERO EDITION SPECIAL CONTENT.'
So when I purchase a copy of Advanced Warfare after the 3rd where do I go to get my Day Zero DLC as stated in your FAQ? I will be buying it of the Xbox marketplace throught the 360 when I becomes available as a games on demand since there is currently no retailer selling it digitally. Also how are 360 gamers meant to take advantage of the free upgrade to next gen as it is digital only? I was under the assumption that Call of Duty had a contract with Xbox with exclusives and what not so why are 360 gamers getting excluded?
