My xbox 360 freezes when I try to use The Lizard Rampage Pack on my The Amazing Spiderman that is the digital version of the game, what do I do?

I have the digital version of The Amazing Spiderman and I tried downloading The Lizard Rampage Pack and all seemed fine but when I went into the game, went to challenges and actually tried to play the DLC, it goes like it's going to load and then my Xbox 360 freezes to where I have to press the X button on the console to turn it off. It does this every time without fail, it goes like it's going to load but freezes my console and when I tried contacting Microsoft they do a few things then say they can no longer help and to contact Activision.
